The East Dallas County Democrats are a group of progressive activists from Mesquite, Garland, Balch Springs, Sunnyvale, Wylie, Sachse, Seagoville, and South/East Dallas. With roots dating back to the 1970's, we are one of the longest-running Democratic clubs in Dallas County.

Our vision is of a county that is fair, just, and inclusive for all. We hope for all to be engaged and respected in the political process that affects their daily lives. We continue our commitment towards transparency, representation, and thoughtful human-based solutions in our local government.
